ANGER CONTROL TIPS

My name is Erick Carlson and I created this website to help people who are dealing with anger and looking for ways to control or manage it.

Disclaimer – I am not a licensed psychologist or anger management counselor but after dealing with anger nearly my entire life, and after attending upwards of 40+ anger management counseling groups (10 by force / 30 by choice), I feel I have the knowledge and experience necessary to help you learn a lot more about controlling & managing your anger and would love to share with you what I’ve learned over the years.

My overall goal of this site is to help people control & manage their anger and give people a place to share their own stories that could potentially help others as well. Don’t be afraid to speak up! Your voice might be exactly what someone needs to hear.

ANGER MANAGEMENT COUNSELING

Anger management counseling changed my life and for that reason I whole heartedly endorse it. So, if you have an anger problem, I first suggest that you seek professional counseling rather than just reading my blog. A licensed counselor will ask you all of the right questions to find out what specifically triggers your anger and be able to give you healthy ways to cope with it. But if you are here to just learn a couple tips or coping methods to help you get through your day a little less angry, I can help with that too.

DEALING WITH ANGER

One of the best ways at dealing with anger (or at least what my other group members would say on a regular basis) is hearing other people’s stories, learning how they dealt with their anger and things they did to get through it. I got told by group members on a regular basis that they appreciated me being so open and honest. And for that reason I decided to make this a personal blog rather than just giving away generic tips in hopes that other people outside of my group can learn from my experiences as well.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT

However, there is no one single way to deal with anger because everyone is different. The best you can do is to take these tips and mix them up with what works for you. As you go through this journey you will start to learn a lot more about yourself, what your triggers are and how you can prepare yourself for them.
